Mrs. Sara von Rapp,
331 South 13th Street,
Philadelphia, Pa.

Dear Madam:-
In the absence of Mr. Charles L. Freer, I beg leave to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of recent date.

Mr. Freer is traveling about in the Orient and does not expect to return to Detroit for several months.

His collection does not include any canvases of Mr. Dewey's and I think he would not consider the purchase of the one you write of.

However, I shall be writing Mr. Freer in a day or two and shall enclose your letter therewith.

Very truly yours,
JM Kennedy
