Gentlemen:-
Referring to your letter of recent date, addressed to Mr. Charles L. Freer, relative to maple syrup.

Mr. Freer is absent abroad, and does not expect to return home for some months, and I do not think he will require any maple syrup this year, because he has a good quantity left over from last year.
