Dear Sir:-

Mr. Allison, the custom house broker here, has presented a bill for $13.45, being the amount of freight charges paid by him on two cases No's 5020 and 5021, shipped by A. W. Weston on September 19th, 1905 from Yokohama, by S. S. "Argonia" consigned to Mr. Freer.

Along with these two cases, by the same steamer came three cases No's 5033, 5034 and 5035, being, as I understand it, the joint shipment of yourself and Mr. Mayeda. Upon the receipt of these five cases, Mr. Freer paid the duty and entry, but at that time, no amount for freight was included in the amount paid the custom house broker. It seems that at the time shipment was made, Mr. Weston advised Mr. Allison that the above amount, $13.45,
