pastels by Mr. Tryon which Mr. Freer bought just before sailing. The pictures were a great addition to the exhibition. I wish that Mr. Freer might know how much they were appreciated. With thanks for your trouble."

The pictures have not, as yet, arrived, but I have notified Stephen that they are on their way.

You are advised by Mr. Karl W. Hiersemann, under date of February 28th, that he is sending you the two copies of the recent part of "Vermeer van Delft". 

No disbursements of any consequence since my last advice, but there was received to-day for account of Mr. E. J. Reulbach, $1,500.00 to apply on his note. The Bank balance, therefore, as of to-day's date, $45,178.51.
