Your letter of the 1st inst. enclosing endorsed check for $218.75, has been received and the check was deposited in the Savings Department of the Peoples State Bank, as requested.  The present balance is shown as $3,218.75.[[checkmark]]

I, too, received a letter yesterday from Mr. Freer mailed at Singapore and am pleased to know he is having such delightful times, and is well and happy.
