H. R. Yamamoto,

150 West 64th St., New York.

[[?]] Yamamoto:

Some time ago, I wrote Mr. Mayeda about the shipment of two [[cases?]] Mr. Freer in September, 1905, the freight charges on which were [[?]] and about which I have heretofore written you. Mr. Mayeda [[?]] must have belonged to you, as stated in his letter, I quote as follows:-

"In regard to freight charges you mentioned, I remember quite well that belongs to Mr. Yamamoto. These two cases [obscured - No.] 5020 and No. 5021 in which contained "Kakemono Geese Design" by Shessu, "Kakemono Flower Design" 4 in set by Sotatsu and "Tosa School Screen" very small and I have seen these articles in his Tokyo residence and I told you when we went to Custom house that these two cases must belonged to Mr. Yamamoto. If you write him again he may remind about them and at same time I am going to New York next week so I will speak about them to him. Hoping this matter will clear within short time".

Will you be good enough to let me hear from you again and oblige.

Very truly yours,
JM Kennedy
