Charles L. Freer, Esq.,
Care, The Berkshire Inn,
Great Barrington, Mass.

Dear Mr. Freer:-

I sent you a letter containing the enclosure, yesterday, addressing it to the Hotel Belmont, which doubtless you received to-day.

To-day, the following letters have been received:-

No. 2. From Mrs. Saint-Gaudens,
No. 3. From E. B. Cadwell & Company, Detroit,
No. 4. From Yamanaka & Company, New York,
No. 5. From Long Sang Ti & Company, New York,
No. 6. From Macdonald Institute, Guelph, Canada,
No. 7. Postmarked New York, Station "O",
No. 8. Postmarked New York, Station "E".

As directed by you, I opened the letter postmarked Windsor, Vt., and wired you this afternoon, as per carbon copy enclosed herewith.

The man from Jamestown, N. Y., started putting up the cases this afternoon.

It is raining very hard to-day. Nothing new.

Very respectfully yours,
J M Kennedy
