Charles L. Freer, Esq.,
Care, Hotel Belmont,
42nd St. and Park Ave.,
New York City, N. Y.

Dear Mr. Freer:-

Your telegram sent from New York on Sunday, was repeated to me at my house after four o'clock in the afternoon. Shortly before six o'clock on Sunday afternoon, the Western Union telephoned me a message addressed to you from Mr. Thayer at Dublin, reading:

"Pictures have got into very bad condition. Will write."

and I immediately repeated the contents to you at the Belmont, with the chance of its reaching you before you left the Dublin, but I fancy you had gone before it was received at the hotel.

I am in receipt of your letter written on Sunday afternoon, and note your itinerary for the remainder of your stay East.

I have not forwarded you any mail since Friday, the 5th, because of the uncertainty of your movements, and you will find enclosed herewith, letters received since, as follows:-

No.14. From Emile Lejarre,
No.15. Postmarked Detroit, Station "C",
No.16. Postmarked Detroit,
No.17. Postmarked Detroit, Station "A",
No.18. From Mrs. Seely, New York,
No.19. From W. A. McLaughlin, New York,
