Dear Cousin:-

Replying to your letter of October 9th., the note of yours now in my possession can continue for a year longer if you wish it. On November 15th, I shall sail from New York for Egypt, Ceylon and Java, and shall be absent until next Spring or Summer. In the meantime, if you wish to pay the note you can do so through Mr. J. M. Kennedy, of my office. His address is No. 915 Union Trust Building, and he is authorized to settle the matter with you should you wish it done.
