October 13th, 1906.

Mrs. Frances C. Tobey,
No. 244 East 65th. Place, Chicago, Ills.

Dear Madam:-

Earlier reply to your letter of October 5th has been prevented by my absence. In reply, the "Peacock Room" has been erected in a room connected with my house, and up to November 10th. next it can be seen by art students or others interested in Mr. Whistler's art. My private gallery can be seen under the same conditions. After November tenth, the galleries will be closed because of my proposed absence from Detroit.

Very truly yours,
Charles L. Freer
