No. 915 Union Trust Building,
Detroit, Michigan,
October 13th.,1906.

Miss Grace Greenwood,
Macdonald Institute, Guelph, Canada.

Dear Madam:-

Earlier reply to your inquiry of October first has been prevented by my absence. In reply, the copies of Whistler's "Ten O'clock" now in my possession are not being held for any dealer. They are the property of the executrix of Mr. Whistler's will, and to her I have already mentioned the fact that you are desirous of obtaining a copy. Should she consent to my sending you one, I shall be glad to do so, but without instructions from her I cannot.

Very respectfully yours,
Charles L. Freer
