65 -2- A settlement of my account with you is being made up to-day and a check in payment of the same, amounting to four thousand, eight hundred dollars ($4,800.00) will go to you by to-morrow's mail. I hoped to have made another call upon you before leaving New York, but found my time too much occupied to do so. I shall sail from New York on the Steam Ship "Hamburg" November fifteenth, and shall be absent until next Spring.
