November 30th, 1939

Dear Tubby:

Many thanks for your good lines of November 27th to which I hasten to reply that we will be very pleased to lend you the Pannini which you refer to in your letter for the proposed exhibition at Yale.

I am enclosing herewith a Memorandum Invoice containing whatever information we have on the picture, together with the valuation. I believe you have a photograph of this painting, but should you want any more for cataloging or publicity purposes, please let me know and I will forward them to you immediately.

You did not state in your letter the actual dates of the exhibition, other than the opening date, and also when your truckmen would pick up the painting. Would you be good enough to let me know all this. The picture is fully covered under our own insurance policy both in transit and while on exhibit.

In the meantime, I have definitely noted Wednesday, January 17th in my calendar and you can count on me to come up to New Haven for the event which I am very much looking forward to. At the same time, don't forget our discussion about Mrs. Patrick C. Hill!

If there is anything else I can do for you or any other information you want, please do not fail to call on me.

As ever -

Yours faithfully,

(Robert M. Levy)
