Dear Mr. Ritchie:

A few days ago, Katherine Nash, an instructor at the University of Nebraska, dropped in with the enclosed photographs of her work.

Excitings and interesting as those weldings are, there is, as I explained to her, nothing we can do, for want of space and not being known for contemporary American sculpture.

I suggested that she try to see you. But she thought there might be many barriers between the doors of the Museum of Modern Art and your office. She has never had a one-man exhibition and I thought you might want to be aware of her work for consideration in your Penthouse Gallery shows.

Mr. Seligman, who is on the verge of flying off to Europe again, sends his very best wishes, in which I want to be included.

Yours very sincerely,

Mr. Andrew C. Ritchie, Director
Dept. Painting & Sculpture (Mrs. T. D. Parker)
