April 3rd., 1947

Dear Mr. Ward:

For a long time it has been my desire to see the museum you have developed, and have the privilege of calling on you. In fact, when I went to Cleveland for the opening of the Degas exhibition, I had intended then to go to Oberlin, but as you may recall, we were all faced with a very heavy blizzard, which, unfortunately, altered my plans.

I am going to be in Cleveland again on Tuesday April 8th., and am wondering whether you could be so kind as to let me know at the Wade Park Manor, where I shall arrive on Monday evening, if you will be at your office on Tuesday.

I am not suggesting any particular time at present, as my appointments are still a little indefinite.

Looking forward to having this time I hope an opportunity of meeting you,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligman)
