My dear Friend Migeon:

I am glad to inform you that my doctors have decided that I am well enough to dispense with the services of my professional nurse; that during the present week I shall be strong enough to begin caring for myself, and that by the first of the coming year, it is quite likely I shall be recovered from my long illness. This, I know, you will consider very good holiday news, but I want you to read the forthcoming book by the late Professor Fenollosa, entitled "Epochs in Chinese and Japanese Art." The book is being published in London from manuscripts left by the Professor at the time of his death, and I believe the contents of the book will give you great pleasure. I have ordered Quaritch, the dealer in London, to send you a copy of the book as soon as published which I hope you will accept with best holiday greetings to yourself and Mrs. Migeon.

Sincerely your friend,

Mons. Gaston Migeon.
