My dear friend

I received yesterday your good letter and the chegue of 500 £ which you were so charming as to send to me. I don't know how much I must thank you - You are a very true friend & I am grateful to you for all your kindness.

I shall reunite all this money to M Fosley and I hope that he will can get a splendid excavation with it. 

I would that he starts in October if possible.

I shall write to you the [[strikethrough]] follow [[/strikethrough]] consequences of this exploration. 

I am glad to know that your health, little by little, is better. 

Patience is necessary! 

Marcel Bing is now again in China, but goes especially in Japan.
