Insurance Policy.

Whereas Charles L. Freer for account of whom it may concern [[strikethrough]] of [[/strikethrough]] Loss, if any, payable to him hereinafter called the Assured, has paid Six shillings & eight pence per cent Premium or Consideration to Us, who have hereunto subscribed our Names to insure against loss as follows, viz:-

On Oil Paintings (as per schedule attached)
Situate at (as per schedule attached)
Against all risks (as per schedule attached)

It is hereby understood and agreed that one pound sterling is considered equal to $4.85 in American Money, and loss, if any, will be adjusted and payable on this basis. 

during the period commencing with noon the Tenth day of January 1906 and ending with noon the Tenth day of March 1906, [[strikethrough]] both days inclusive [[/strikethrough]] American local time.

Now know Ye, that we the Insurers do hereby bind Ourselves, each of his own Part, and not One for Another, our Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, to make good to the Assured or to the Assured's Executors, Administrators, and Assigns, all such Loss as above stated, not exceeding the Sum of £12,372 or $60,000 in all, that the Assured may sustain during the said period, within Thirty Days after such Loss is proved, and that in proportion to the several Sums by each of Us subscribed against our respective Names. 

In Witness whereof We have subscribed our Names and Sums of Money by us Insured.
