Gentlemen:-

Referring to my letter of the 22nd inst., relative to four cases shipped by Mr. Fujita, Kyoto, to New York for reshipment to me, please be good enough to see that the contents of these cases are carefully handled by the Customs people, and after they have furnished their inspection of the articles, that they are very carefully repacked, so as to make sure there is no liability to breakage in handling between New York and Detroit.
