It is understood that the Free Baptist Branch of the American Missionary Association will supply the three School Houses in West Virginia with teachers, the Boards of Education paying part of their salaries. The Baltimore Freedmen Aid Association will send teachers to four of the places in Maryland, but the other eighteen places are calling for competent persons to teach in their new and well built houses. There are also excellent houses at Port Tobacco. Charles Co. Md. and Leonard St. Mary's Co. built in the same way this season, for which we have no teachers, but I am confident that having succeeded in getting the houses we shall get the teachers in some way.
