Mr. Henry Bacon,
160- 5th Ave.,
New York City.

Dear Mr. Bacon:-

Referring to your letter of December 2nd. I shall leave Detroit on Sunday, the 8th inst., and go to Windsor, Vermont, to see Mrs. Saint Gaudens and return by the way of New York. If all goes well I shall reach your city sometime during Wednesday, the 11th inst. After my arrival there I shall telephone you and if you are in town at that time I hope we can arrange for an interview concerning the proposed Poe tablet for West Point. I expect to be in New York both the 11th and 12th inst., but I cannot state positively at present the length of my stay.

Believe me,

Yours sincerely,
Charles L Freer
