#33 Ferry Avenue,
Detroit, Michigan, U. S. A.,
December 30th, 1907.

Mr. Charles Caryl Coleman,
Villa Narcissus, Capri, Italy.

My dear Coleman:-

Your good letter of December 13th, came this morning, and in the rush of many things, I am compelled to send you a typewritten letter in acknowledgement of its receipt.

Along with the letter, came your promissory note for $1,184.00, dated September 26th, 1907, being the day on which I sent you the Lire 6,000 from London.

This hurried line is only to let you know that the promissory note is safely here. In a few days I shall have the time, I hope, to write you at greater length.

I am wishing you good health, happiness and much prosperity during the New Year, and remain, always,

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
