Henry Bacon, Esq.,

New York, N. Y.

Dear Mr. Bacon:-

I am glad to have your letter of January 20th and wish you a pleasant vacation. Business matters will keep me here until after you shall have left New York, but before your return, I shall surely be in your city and shall call at your office to examine the plans of the proposed Memorial to Edgar Allen Poe.

Early after your return, we shall meet, I trust, and have a chance to talk the matter over fully.

Yours sincerely,
Charles L. Freer
