Professor Francis W. Kelsey,
Care, University of Michigan,
Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Dear Professor Kelsey:-
Referring to our several recent interviews, and particularly our conversation of yesterday afternoon; may I now repeat the fact that I desirous that the contents of the Manuscripts of the Bible, which have come into my possession, should be made available for scholars in the best possible way.

If the University of Michigan will furnish the expert work needed to carry out this purpose, I shall be pleased to assume the expense of such publication, under the imprint of the University of Michigan, as shall be considered necessary, and as shall be from time to time. mutually agreed upon by the officers of the University and myself.

Believe me,
Very sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
