FRANCIS W. KELSEY, Esq., President,
Archaelogical Institute of America,
Ann Arbor, M i c h i g a n.

MY DEAR PROFESSOR KELSEY-
Your kind letter of February first, with contents as mentioned, is received and noted. Yes, I am glad to have copies of the letters and am much pleased with what you have written.

I beg to enclose voucher and cheque for One Hundred and Twenty-five ($125.00) Dollars, payable to Mr. Swayne's order, and would be pleased to have you forward the same to him.

Do feel at liberty to order whatever prints from the present negatives you may desire to use or forward to scholars, and have Mr. Swayne send bill therefor to me.

I think it much wiser to have photographs of the manuscripts issued only by yourself or Professor Sanders; this plan will prevent duplication, or thoughtless issuing of photographs. I have sent photographs only to the following persons, namely:

Dr. F. W. Mann, Alassio, Italy- One complete set of the prints;

Gaston Migeon, Musee du Louvre- One photograph of the cover of the Four Gospels.

Should I, in the future, issue other copies, I will keep you informed, and by this means we can, I am sure, avoid confusion.
