Of course, the plans must be of the most dignified and influential character. Our part of the work must be based upon the highest standards and commensurate with the quality of the objects to be exhibited. If properly done, the work should prove to be the greatest success in this direction ever attained in the United States.

I was sorry to learn from letters received from mutual friends that you were not well after returning to your native country, but I judge from your letter that you are now better. I sincerely hope your recovery is complete.
