Mr. Kihachiro Matsuki,
380 Boylston Street,
Boston, Mass.

Dear Mr. Matsuki:-

I have learned that it was the intention of the Boston Transcript to publish an article in its edition of Sunday, the 27th instant, on Whistler in connection with the monument to Whistler's memory unveiled at West Point on Saturday, last.

I should like to see the article, and if it did not appear in Sunday's paper, it is pretty sure to come out in the Transcript some day this week. When it is published, I wish you would send me three copies of the paper containing the article, and oblige,

Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer
