55 #33 Ferry Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, November 12th, 1907. Mr. H. G. Kelenian, 275 Fifth Avenue, New York, N. Y. My dear Sir:- Your letter of October 31st was duly received, and would have had earlier reply but for a pressure of other matters. Enclosed herewith, I take pleasure in handing you check for $200. in payment for the tile purchased from your brother in Paris. Kindly receipt and return the voucher at your convenience. I appreciate your offer to send to me on approval the Racca Jar recently in your New York store, but I feel that I should not prevent its sale to other parties who might want it while it remained unpaid for in my Collection. I feel that in all cases, it would be better, for both your firm and myself, if articles sent me became really mine upon arrival. If they remain in my Collection for a while and are then returned to you, I and quite sure their later sale might be prevented thereby. Thank you for your kindness, I remain, Very truly yours, Charles L. Freer enclosure
