Detroit, Mich., 33 Ferry Avenue,
November 13, 1907.

My dear Colonel Hanna:-

Your kind letter of October 31st, acknowledging receipt of my draft for 3,100 pounds, is received.

I note with interest the steps already taken looking to the packing and forwarding the Indian pictures and M. S. S. The collection will doubtless be received are long and I shall be glad to have the pleasure of studying and caring for them in the future.

I am interested in your desire to have your name permanently attached to your collection and I shall gladly comply in the following manner: When the final catalogue of my collections goes along with the collections to Washington, it shall give you credit for having gathered the paintings and M.S.S. This, I think will perpetuate your association with the collection. If at any time you should think of any additional or better way of connecting your name with the collection, I shall be glad indeed to receive suggestions from you.

With kind wishes to you and family, I remain,

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
