Dear Dewing:- 

I have examined the Catalog of the Wunderlich Collection of Whistler Etchings and Lithographs, and I find that the Etchings there is only one needed by me, namely: 

ENCAMPING W75 

This print is a very rare one and is of Wunderlich Catalog No.33 I doubt very much if this is an impression taken from the plate before the plat was scratched across its face for the purpose of preventing further good prints to be made from it. Whistler had a habit of marring the face of his plates after it failed to give good impressions. Now, if the print Kennedy has is of the plate after its face had been scratched, I do not want it, On the other hand, if it is an impression before its face was scratched, I should like to have it. 

In the lot of Lithographs there are four I should like to see on approval, and if it is not too much trouble, will you drop in on David and have him send them to me for inspection. If they are all of fine quality, I should be glad to keep them, but if not, I shall want to return them. 

The numbers are as follows:
