Endorsement upon Complaint of S.D. Drennan, against Henry (Freedman) dated at Millican Texas. March 18th 1866-(H,3) which was endorsed as follows by W.H. Farner. S.A.C.
"Capt Delacy. Com.d.g. Post. will forward the Freedman Henry under Guard to the Provost Marshal at Houston with instructions to have him sent to Galveston, the testimony in the case is this morning sent by Mail. He is a very bad boy and must be closely watched &c.
And as follows by Lt Col. Dox. Com.d.g Post of Houston. Texas.
"Respectfully forwarded to Com.d.g Officer Post of Galveston. along with Prisoner under Guard."
And as follows by Capt. M. McCaffrey, Post Adjt Galveston.
"Respectfully referred to Hd Qrs B.R.F. and A.L. with the information that the within named Freedman is a Prisoner. in our hands at this Post."

Respectfully referred to W.H. Farner, Esq. Millican, Texas., This case should have been disposed of by you. Action has been taken in this case because you had involved the Govt in the expense of sending him here. This was uncessary as you are perfectfully competent to dispose of all such cases as this
