Respectfully returned to A.M. Bryant S.A.C. at Sherman, with the information that the County must support its own paupers; and that no funds that may be in the S.A.C. will be expended for any purpose, but will be accounted for to the proper office on blanks provided for that purpose.

Respectfully returned to F.B. Sturgis Sub. Asst Comr at Marlin. Texas, whose attention is invited to the endorsement of the 24th Aug. 1867. on the letter of Geo A. King, which directs him to return the papers to these Headquarters. His attention is also invited to the enclosed paper marked (A), which is referred to LtbKirkman by W.- Clarke, on the 8th of August, and referred by him to the Sub. Asst. Comr on the 6th of August. Two days before! No such records appear on the books at these Headquarters. These, with the former papers to be returned. No action will be taken against Mr King unless ordered from these Headquarters.
