Respectfully returned with the remark that receipts are on file in this office for nearly all of the Circulars & orders called for by Mr Morrison.
It was not intended by Gen Ord No 2 to furnish agents new files of orders, but that they should apply for those that might be missing in their offices.
Any that Mr. Morrison may require to complete his file can be obtained upon application at this office, by giving the numbers, series - and from what office issued (War dep't, or this State.

Respectfully returned with the remark that nearly all orders and Circulars have been furnished the office at Camp Verde, and if the previous Com'd'g Officer has taken them away Capt Clemens should apply to him and have them returned.
It is thought the office at Camp Verde will require no orders issued previous to 1867. as there are but few freedpeople in that Sub District.

Respectfully returned to Maj Gen. O. O. Howard Comr. The records of this office show that F. D. Inge was appointed an Agent B.R.F&A.L. State of Texas by Gen. E. M. Gregory, on the 5th of Dec 1865. to serve "without compensation"_. Aside from this fact Mr Inge cannot take the oath required by the law establishing this Bureau.
I see no way by which Mr Inge. can be paid, even had he been promised pay. which according to appointment, he was not. Application dissapproved,
