16 [[checkmark]] #33 Ferry Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, March 6th, 1908. Mr. Frederic May, Care, Park Hotel, Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Dear Mr. May:- Your kind letter of the 5th instant, is received, and I regret with you, my absence at the time of your recent call. It is a pleasure to know that you are in this vicinity and that you can favor me with a visit. I shall be at home on Sunday next, and I will esteem it a favor if you will come to my house as early that morning as you conveniently can. Ten o' clock would suit me very well, if it is not too early for you. I would be glad to have you remain for luncheon and give as much of the day as you can to seeing my Collection. The sudden death of my friend, Mr. Hance, may demand more or less of my time on Sunday, but let this not interfere with your coming because if I cannot be at home
