33 #2. Ibrahim Aly. to go up the Nile unless possibly for a very few days at Luxor. As I now intend to visit Egypt personally, I shall tkae [[take]] with me the watch for Arabi Gizeh, and I shall be glad to comply with your request to bring one for you also. If you are not in Egypt at the time, or if you are employed, and I do not have the pleasure of seeing you I will leave your watch with the head porter at Shepheard's Hotel, with instructions to deliver it to you. My health continues quite satisfactory, and I hope that you too are keeping very well. I want to thank you for the trouble you took in asking Arabi about the place from which the MMS. came. I am sorry he cannot tell me in what locality they were found, as it would be interesting for future students of these MMS. to know the exact locality in which they were dug up. Believe me, Yours very truly, Charles L. Freer
