Dear Mr.Freer;-

I have your several favors of the 14th instant,and have advised Mr.Lindsay Russell of the Japan Society in accordance with both your own and my feelings in regard to the exhibition.

I have also taken pleasure in forwarding your letter to Mr.Havemeyer,and am quite sure that they will be more than delighted to accept of your hospitality on the 18th instant.

I am very pleased to read Mrs.Williams' letter,and have passed same along to Mr.Russell,requesting him to kindly obtain the original manuscript and return the letter to you at his early convenience.
