My dear Mr. Freer:-

As I had not forgotten my promise - to send you all of the Sadakichi Hartman [[Hartmann]] "Letters", I was dismayed to find that, in my absence, someone must have "tidied up" too well - and the only copy I was able to reclaim was this very much worn and ravelled one herein enclosed, and which has just some to hand. So, if you are still interested to read what the offended Art Pundit has said of "Art Conditions in Detroit" - I am glad to let you have the copy.

With regret that I have been this tardy - and with many thanks for a delightful visit with you and Mr. Charles Farguson [[Ferguson]] (whose lecture by the way was greatly liked) - Faithfully yours
Helen Plumb
Secy.
