Gentlemen:- 

I have just received a cablegram from Mr. Fred M. Fisk, European Manager, Parke, Davis & Company, telling me of the safe arrival of the three pieces of pottery, covered by my letter to you of October 8th, and in accordance with said letter. I take pleasure in enclosing herewith, a draft on the Imperial Ottoman Bank, of Aleppo, Syria for ten thousand francs, the same being in settlement for the three pieces of pottery. I trust that this remittance will reach you safely and prove entirely satisfactory.

As soon as the fourth piece of pottery, ordered in my letter to you of December 2nd, reaches London, I will remit you also for it.

Please acknowledge receipt of the draft enclosed herein.
