Mr. Watson M. Freer,
Kingston, Ulster County,
N. Y.

Dear Watson:-

Your letter of the 15th, inst. with bills, as mentioned, is received, and I am sending you, enclosed herewith, draft on New York, payable to your order, for $249.01, in settlement of the bills. Kindly receipt and return the invoice directly to Mr. Kennedy.

A letter from Colonel Hecker, written in New York, reached me this morning, and he writes that Anna was suffering from another attack of indigestion while in New York. I hope she is much better by this time, and that the attack did not prove very serious. Give her all sorts of nice messages from me.
Always sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
