F. M. Fisk, Esq.,
C/o Parke, Davis & Company,
Beak St., Regent Street,
London, W. England.

Dear Mr. Fisk:-

I wrote you quite fully yesterday, concerning the potteries purchased from Messrs Vincenzo Marcopoli & Company, of Aleppo, Syria, and this morning, I received your kind letter of January 9th.

I now learn (from the telegram received by you) that Marcopoli has shipped two cases instead of one, in his last shipment. This confirms the thought expressed in my letter of yesterday, that instead of sending one additional piece of pottery, he has sent two.

When the packages are received, I trust you will be good enough to turn them over to George W. Wheatley & Company, 23 Regent Street, for transhipment to the Smithsonian Institution.

With much gratitude for your goodness, and with kind regards,
I remain,
Very sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
