Dear Professor Kelsey: -

In accordance with our recent conversation, I wrote Doctor Angell on January 22nd, concerning the publication of the Cufie manuscripts, as per copy of letter enclosed herewith. Doctor Angell, will in due time, give consideration to the matter, and will then make known his decision. I trust the form of letter which I sent to Doctor Angell will meet with your approval and I trust, that you will retain the copy thereof, herewith.

I am sending you, under separate cover, a copy of Whistler's Ten O'Clock, which is bound with the kind of paper which we agreed to adopt for covering the binding of the Deuteronomy and Joshua. I, also, enclose with the Ten O'Clock, two samples of color on brown paper, which I offer as suggestions for coloring the leather to be used in binding the Deuteronomy and Joshua. I think that the one marked "A" would look very well in connection with the paper already selected - it has an appealing warmth of tone and I hope you will like it; should you deem it to colorful, don't hesitate to say so and we can modify its brightness. Sample "B" is a darker tone containing less of the " copper tint." It is more sombre in effect, but in combination
