the work for you and I enclose herewith, a letter to Mr. Canfield's house-keeper whose name is, Virginia - a colored woman who has been in his employ a number of years.  She and the pictures are at 506 Madison Avenue, near 52nd, Street, and she will permit a photographer to make a plate of "Rosa Corder."

I am a little uncertain of the proper spelling of the name of the Curator of the Luxembourg Gallery, but I will look it up at my house to-morrow and send you a letter addressed to him, early next week.
