My dear Sir:-
Your letter of the 2nd, inst., came this morning, and I am pleased to learn that the pictures by Dewing and Tryon, gave pleasure to your people.
Regarding next year's exhibition, I cannot at the present time make promises. Much of my time is spent abroad and when absent from America, I do not allow paintings to leave my collection. However, should I be in America during the time of building your next exhibition, I may consent to making further loans; I must nevertheless, tell you in advance, that it is rather a long distance to send valuable paintings.
Believe me,
Very sincerely yours,
Charles L Freer
