Detroit, Michigan,
March 4th, 1909.

Mr. Azeez Khayat,
Caiffa,
Syria.

Dear Sir:-
Your letter of March 2nd, is received and fully noted. After your return to America next autumn, I shall be pleased to see the pieces of Persian pottery mentioned.
You are kind to invite me to call upon you at Caiffa, Syria, in the event of my visiting your country during the coming summer. As yet, my plans are undetermined. I think, however, I shall scarcely visit Syria this year: when I do repeat my visit to your country, I shall of course, take pleasure in calling upon you.
Your very truly,
Charles L. Freer
