My dear Sir:-

I have read, with much interest, your kind letter of February 28th, in which you describe the Hebrew Bible Manuscript. It is doubtless a very important document, but after full consideration, I have decided not to purchase it. The few Manuscripts I now possess, will have to satisfy my ambition in that direction, because, the other departments of my collection need strengthening and practically require all of the means at my command.

I appreciate your goodness in this matter and beg to offer you my best thanks therefor.

Believe me,

Very sincerely yours,
Charles L. Freer
