County of Galveston
 
Know all men by these Presents.
That I E.S. Bolling of the county of Galveston, State of Texas, and held and firmly bound unto Brvt Maj. Genl J. B. Kiddoo. U.S. Vols. Assistant Commissioner Bureau Refugees. Freedmen and Abandoned Lands. For the State of Texas. (for the use and benefit of the United States, in the penal sum of One hundred and Fifty (150/ Dollars. lawful money of the United States. for the payment of which to be well and truly made. I bind myself, my heirs, assigns, and administrators firmly by these presents, Witness my hand and Seal.

The condition of the above Bond is such that if Israel T. Clark, of Galveston -Co. Texas- shall keep the peace towards all freedmen for the period of Six months from the date underneath then shall this Bond be null and void [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
