Charge 1. murder.
Specification: In this, that Goodwin C. Harrison, a citizen of Fort Bend Co. Tex. did, with malice aforethought, Kill a negro man named "Bill" by shooting at said negro with a pistol.

This at McLowd's plantation Fort Bend County Tex. on or about the twelfth of September eighteen hundred and Sixty Five (1865.)
