To may satisfaction I can see that the colored are at work in good earnest making preparation for the new crop.

When we spoke of the arrangement in the Telegraph Office at Hempstead, You remarked to me that Schools for the colored should be established in this part of the country.- In my immediate neighborhood a good school of colored children might be made up.

I am sorry to see these little darkeys grow up without the chance of education. The other day I met with Mr L Seidelmann a teacher at Industry Austin Co.
