General,

     We have the honor to address this letter to you as a supplement to our former lengthy communication wherein we complained and set forth the facts touching the oppressive and illegal conduct of Enon M. Harris the Agent of the Freedmen's Bureau at this place in forcibly preventing the Trust Sale and seizing the mortgaged property himself. We expressed the opinion in that letter that the whole proceedure was a mere sham and that the real motive that prompted the Bureau Agent was to shield Hanford and Willard the debtors in the Trust Deed who are Northern men from the just claims due Texas creditors. In addition to the facts stated in our former letter in confirmation of this view of the case we now state one fact more which appears to us conclusive of the fact that the Bureau
