Wheeler's plantation on Trinity river and related the facts to him. He hold us almost immediately that they had taken Mr Goddin to Boykin's Plantation about a mile above him at least he thought so. about this time the party appeared on sight and at Mr Wheelers house turned Mr Goddin loose on condition that he would remit a fine of One Hundred Dollars imposed by him on Mr J.C. Stevens for contempt
